Cristina Perez has been a fixture in the New Orleans Jazz scene since 2011, where she began her career performing traditional jazz in clubs along the infamous Frenchmen Street with her Trio. In 2012 she took on the role of Keely Smith in the Big Easy Award Winning "Jump, Jive, and Wail! The Music of Louis Prima" and received rave reviews. She graced the stage at the National World War II Museum in a variety of tribute shows, portraying war-era starlets like Maxine Andrews, Carmen Miranda, Dorothy Lamour, and more! Besides the theatre, you've probably seen Cristina singing around town at historic luxury hotels like the Polo Lounge in the Windsor Court, or the Carousel Bar in the Hotel Monteleone. Fluent in different jazz genres, she sings with many bands, in various styles, and performs for private events quite frequently.
